poetry writing challenge - day 16

write about a color.

bah! ...but okay.

White

It is I who drop my eyes
I who leave without a sound
I become the next
I erase the page

white and whiter still

don't say my name

or do.
I cannot hear you now.

I was hoping for grey. But you did nail white. All your efforts have been outstanding. Keep it up, champ.

Why no comment yesterday? I was stunned by the fact that that was your favorite poem. Or embarrassed that I had never read it before. Your take on it reminded me of a Ray Bradbury story, and that is a compliment.
