poetry writing challenge - day 17

For today's prompt, I want you to write a poem with the following title: "All I want is (blank)," where you fill in the blank with a word or phrase of your choosing.

all i want is

all i want is
to know all i want

all i want is to want
all i know

i want
all
to know all
to want i
to know is
to know i

all i want
is to be all you know
all you want

i want you to know
all i
all i know
all i want

i know you
i want you
that is all i want

all i want is
you to know all i want
all i want is to want
all you know, all you want to know,
all you know to want,
all you want to want,
all you give up on knowing
on wanting

i want
all
to know all

i know you
i want you
that is all i want

oh my goodness! i guess that was a little greedy.

really all i want is a dishwasher but that didn't sound too poeticalish.

all i want is truth..

Why you should ask, I do not see.
Though we have only met today,
Come as you like and visit me.
Here is a window, here a door, for you,
Besides a certain chimney-flue.

(Goethe Faust I "study scene")

I did'nt see your comment...

are you my cousin ?....

yes, if it is o.k.
and in hope, my comments were not to european..

should I quit ??

Laura Hohlwein said...

"yes, if it is o.k." ??

alexander? or a 'virtual' cousin?

and, nono, carry on...
comments are welcomed.

"Yes, if it is o.k." was a typical "german" way to express a direct answer to your question in combination with the question wether the fact of being "here" as your cousin is welcomed, because "this is not a blog". Even if the way to think and feel is very often the same - the metacommunication or meta language (English/German) is different some times -sorry for that, because reponsibility for the result of communication is on the sender's side

Yes it is "me" - The real one you namend - not virtual - more proof necessary - date of birth of our common Grandparents ?

exellent!
i can't believe I guessed.
how delightful to have you on my non-blog.

i hope it's not all too (something).

i am enjoying trying to write something everyday. it's been so long since I've tried to have any discipline with it.

it helps to have comments and company.

but, come to think of it, I don't know Oma's middle name....
