...the junk drawer of my mind... look if you want. you might find dreams scraps (maybe featuring you?), poem scraps, ideas unformed or abandoned, dried out sharpie pens, 37 cent stamps, lies and red-herrings, lip-gloss and assorted dangling and/or misplaced modifiers.

poetry writing challenge - day 30 (last day, sigh)
posted (challenge completed) but posting retracted.
I thought it was too much. I could put it back if you advise. He's got such a tough road - makes any complaint I might have about my life absolute horseshit.
Thanks so much for the support - and for the dare; I had no choice but to carry on and I quite enjoyed it.
decided to take this one down, lest it cause hurt. that would be unintentional, most surely, but isn't worth even the slightest possibility. writers can be real trespassers.
s'wanyway, thanks, again.
(I'm sure you're a great dad if you can remember to pay attention and offer daily support. I can't even do that for myself sometimes!)
hope you're not feeling too grounded by the sloppy weather.
I'm glad I got to read that poem. You have fulfilled your task and must do what you must with your creations. No pressure to re-post.
I like to think I did OK, dad-wise. That they can talk to me about most things anyway.
I"m totally loving this weather! Had a big running race yesterday and have now been rewarding myself with food, drink, and sloth. The weather fits my mood.
I am jealous of your writing talents. But I keep telling myself that without readers, what is the use of your talent. So I will continue to play my role, and simply appreciate my ability to appreciate.

Shall I check again later to see if you added back the heartwarming intro for your friend?
